The meeting of the research survey team experts took place in Belgrade, on March 30th. The team consists of experts in econometrics and psychology.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the details of the survey of the target group and research on the economic factors and the labour market in Serbia.
The goal of the surveys is to provide a fresh insight and practical solutions for addressing the issues of poverty and unemployment amongst refugees, IDPs and returnees in Serbia.

Helpdesks are making a difference!
Visiting the helpdesks in Belgrade, Vrsac, Sid, Novi Sad and Subotica, the project team of the three partner organisations CDRSEE, CPDD and the Novi Sad Humanitarian Centre, had the opportunity to see the locations of the helpdesks and to listen to the reports of the helpdesk officers, about the expectations of the refugees and IDPs in Serbia and how the project team can address them.

The helpdesks aim to create a network of interconnected experts (lawyers, social workers and psychologist supporting each other in providing direct support to the numerous problems, refugees and IDPs face. The helpdesks also closely connect the project teams in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Thessaloniki with the beneficiaries on the ground. A total of 10 helpdesks have been established in Serbia based in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Sid, Vrsac, Subotica, Nis, Kraljevo, Kragujevac, and Valjevo.
