CDRSEE Executive Director presents the JHP in Dubrovnik

25 June 2009

On the occasion of a seminar organised under the umbrella of the European Fund for the Balkans in Dubrovnik, Nenad Sebek, the Center’s Executive Director, gave a lecture to the participants of the Fellowship Programme for Young Government Officials from the Western Balkans - Supporting Excellence and Leadership in Governance. Mr. Sebek presented to the trainees the Center’s Joint History Project, in a lecture entitled: “How Turkish is Your Coffee? – The Southeast European Joint History Project”.

The Fellowship Programme aims to contribute to the development of effective and efficient state administrations in the region by offering a tailor-made fellowship and training programme for highly qualified young professionals from the central government of the countries of the Western Balkans. To achieve this goal, 20 scholarships were made available for civil servants from the Western Balkans to spend a three-month fellowship in government institutions in Austria, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Slovenia, Czech Republic or Poland.
