Ohrid Regional Conference - Joint History Project

A Regional Conference gathering history teachers from all over the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, as well as from the region (Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus and Kosovo) was held in Ohrid in November 2008.

The first conference of this kind gathered participants from other JHP Workshops who had been already using the Workbooks in class for some time. Teachers presented their experiences and lessons learned so far. The overall goal of the conference was to mark the beginning of the creation of a network of history teachers, not just in each of these individual countries, but in the region.
