Joint History Project press conference and book launch in Zagreb
On October 12th, 2007, the Croatian language edition of the 4 Workbooks was launched in Zagreb with a keynote speech by Dr Erhard Busek, Special Coordinator of the Stability pact for Southeast Europe.
The following press conference was well attended and the workbooks were disseminated to the attendees. So successful was the event, that an expression of interest to fund the forthcoming teacher training phase was put forward, based on the high quality of the project, its presentation and its importance.
A roundtable discussion which will welcomes and invites debate and challenges to the JHP will take place in Zagreb on October 30th. This event will involve historians, other academics, teachers, journalists and political figures and aims to be an open and inclusive discussion about all of the issues raised by the project, both positive and negative.
